Angelica Tavella is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied "Changes of Copyright Law in a Digital Society" (BA), co-founded the Open Access Initiative at Berkeley (
http://oa.berkeley.edu/), and co-facilitated a course called The Politics of Digital Piracy. She spent the last year working in the IT Department at the Wikimedia Foundation, and is currently doing freelance IT work before applying to graduate schools next year. Her interests and involvement with PeerLibrary are in the areas of copyright law, besides being an advocate for a more efficient means of open annotation, peer collaboration, and scholarly communication.
