And yes, my hair also went up when I saw that they didn't use "this".
:-) With some decisions I don't agree, but then, we abstract them out
anyway sooner or later. The main point is for them to provide
functionalities. For example, for forms, we will be probably using:

(But we are not yet on Blaze branch, so we cannot at the moment. We
really have to migrate soon.)
